You Owe It To Yourself to FEEL GOOD (Because The Law Of Attraction Does Work)

I was at a training this past week that was all about the Power in You (Do Yourself a Favor  right now and go to one of their FREE evening courses. YOUR life will never be the same again). 

Now I’m a person who works on myself all the time. I am aware of what I think and say to myself – at least as much as I can get out of my own head.  I would consider myself to be very self observant.  I also know that I don’t know everything and so I went into this training with an open mind and ready to soak it all in.

I wasn’t disappointed.  In fact, I was blown away at how much I grew during three short days and how I FELT afterwards.  This wasn’t one of those “ra ra – feel good” sessions that fizzles out after a few days.  It was absolutely life changing and allowed me to face and let go of some deep stuff. 

“Stuff” is a great technical term for all those things we carry around that stand in our own way.

I realized that The Law of Attraction works.  In fact it works so well that it’s incredible!  And the key to it is emotion.  Yes, emotion.  Knowing what you want is important too – but not as important as emotion.  The universe and your Unconscious Mind don’t care about what you want to attract – they only care about how you feel about it.  Good or bad feelings – the predominant will always win.  Let me explain.

I have an interesting life story – we all do, in fact, but I will use my own as an example.  Throughout my life I learned how to see the world, how to feel about things, how to behave in different circumstances, how to focus on things, and other “stuff.”  Now I want to be exceedingly clear that everything in life happens for a reason and I do not blame my past or anyone in it for where I am today.  Not anymore.  I used to, but that’s another post. 

Some things in my life work for me and others don’t.  In some areas of my life I attract exactly what I want and in others I struggle.  In fact, I don’t even feel very good about some areas of my life.  I don’t really know what I want but I feel bad about not having it.  These bad feelings keep attracting more of what I don’t want.  I realized that I even felt bad about wanting something different in such areas as my health and my career, and so I kept attracting more of what made me feel bad.  Whereas in my immediate family, I aways felt good about my relationship with my husband and now with my kids, and so my family life is fantastic!

So the point is that if you know what you want and you feel good about it you will get more of what you want. 

If you don’t know what you want and you feel bad about what you do have, you will keep attracting more of what you have.

If you do know what you want but you’re not emotionally attached to it, you will keep attracting more of what you have.

How do we get emotionally attached to what we want?  We have to know what gives us meaning in our life.  I’m so grateful that I know how to let past negative emotions and limiting beliefs go easily and quickly because I can now focus more on what I want.  And I can feel what I want which means that I am activating the Law Of Attraction to bring me closer to my dreams. 

So if you want to prove to yourself that the Law Of Attraction works, just keep thinking what you’re thinking and feeling what you’re feeling, and you’ll get more of what you’re getting. 

I feel like I made a quantum leap in my mindset during this course I just took and I am going to share it with the world.  I can now feel what it’s like to dream big and believe that I can achieve that dream!

My Definition of a Coach

“So are you, like, a life coach?”

I get this question all the time.  And my answer is no.  Who even knows what that means?  It’s a term that has been really diluted over the past years and I don’t think it accurately describes what the profession does.   I have the certification and I took the training, but I choose not to use that label.

The pure definition of a coach is to get you from where you are to where you want to be. This is true for athletes, busiensses, and people.  Coaches have tools, knowledge, and experience to help someone fulfill their potential.  A good coach will not allow their client to have excuses for why they don’t have the results they want.  A good coach will keep their client accountable in many ways to that client’s own vision and dreams.

So, then, what am I?

I am a guide to help you, the parent, fall in love with yourself.  Of course, along the way you get to figure out what you want your life to be like – but without that crucial component of self love you will continue to struggle. 

I have three things that I require my clients to do:

  1. Take ownership and 100 % responsibility for their life – without judgment.  This has nothing to do with good/bad/fault/blame and it has everything to do with understanding that you have created your life up until now through all the experiences, decisions, beliefs, and actions you’ve taken and that you have the power to change your life by changing your decisions, beliefs, actions and inactions from now on.
  2. Let go of the need to hold on to your problems and negative emotions.  Allow me to help you clear those out because all they do is cloud your energy, your judgement, and what you really want.
  3. Dare to be bigger than you’ve ever been in your life.  When I ask you, “what do you want?” don’st automatically go to “I don’t know.”  You do know – deep inside you you do know.  You’ve just never allowed yourself to define it or to go after it because you’ve focused on what you think you can do.  Allow yourself to become a bigger version of you – and trust me, the universe will respond and support you.

I do a very different type of alternative therapy…a different type of coaching if you want to call it that.  I focus on your results. It’s not that I don’t care about your problems – I am a caring person.  But I care more about your solutions and I believe you’ve lived with your problems long enough and there is no need to focus on them any longer.  I also believe that change doesn’t have to be difficult or take long.  In fact, in a one day session I can guide you to clear out your emotional and mental baggage, figure out what you want, and help you set up a strategy to get there. 

The only way you’re going to empower and motivate your kids to live their best life is if you lead by example.

Beliefs and Knowings

I remember the day I experienced a very interesting shift in my business.  It happened as I was getting ready for a trade show.  I finally understood and believed in something that I had known for a long time.  And I decided to do something with that knowledge.

I had everything set up to attract huge successes at the show: my booth, my information, my forms, etc.  What I noticed was that I wasn’t on board.  My own attitude was all wrong.  Past experiences of failure (that f-word we all want to avoid), struggling to build my business, and not believing in my own ability kept me stuck in this mindset.  Now I found myself at a fork in the road.  I could either A: remain complacent and wishy-washy about the show and just go and hope to meet some people.  Or B: I could clean up my own attitude, commit my goals to paper, visualize my success, ensure my energy was high, and succeed!

It was completely my choice at this point because I had the knowledge, the information, and all those other things that make up a good trade show booth.  In fact, I realized, I had all the makings of a successful business, I just wasn’t allowing myself to be successful inside.

I chose path B.  I was 100% on board at every level and the trade show was a HUGE success for me. I met amazing people, made great contacts, and really moved my business forward.  AND I learned a valuable lesson: that attitude and beliefs mean the difference between success and the “f” word.

It is entirely up to you to succeed or fail.  That’s the case in business and in life and we all have that choice to make.  You can learn and think about things and feel like we’re not ready to play it big when in reality, you do know enough.  All it takes is just the decision to play big and the tools to let the limiting beliefs go.  I use all my knowledge every day to release my own stuff as it comes up so that I can nurture and live with an attitude and with beliefs that support me.  To me this means I am taking 100% responsibility for my own success and my own business. 

Sure, it’s easier to blame it on the economy, on the government, on neighbours, demanding family schedules, and all sorts of other things.  There are lots of people out there who have these same circumstances and yet they succeed at very high levels.  They don’t use excuses and they implement what they know.  AND they ask for help when they need it.

I hope that all of you experience this shift in your businesses and your lives so that you’re ready to implement the knowledge instead of just know it.  There are awesome tools like NLP and hypnosis that help release negative emotions and limiting beliefs and help you get laser focused.  All it takes is personal responsibility and the willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed.

The Importance of Negative Emotions In Your Family

Negative Emotions are a part of life and we experience them whether we like it or not. They are valuable tools as long as we know how to decipher the clues they give. It’s easy to learn how to tune into what your negative emotions are telling you.

When we experience a negative emotion this means there is something going on in our lives that is calling our attention. This can be easy to figure out if for example, you’re angry about an argument or sad about a loss. If you are experiencing negative emotions in your family or your career, then this is a clue for you to look at what’s going on inside you with respect to those areas of your life.

The best way to begin is to understand where emotions come from. Emotions are triggered by the thoughts we think and our thoughts come from our beliefs. Our thoughts also lead to the actions we take which then lead to the results we get.

If you’re experiencing frustration or another negative emotion it means your actions are not gaining you the results you want. Perhaps you feel that you’re working really hard and yet things aren’t working for you. Or you feel like you’re driving with the parking brake on no matter what you do. The reason for this is that you have limiting belief(s) in your unconscious mind and they are causing you to feel inadequate, unsuccessful, and all those other things you’re feeling.

In order to stop this cycle it’s important to go to the source – to your beliefs and what you tell yourself over and over. You can just ignore these beliefs and just keep on taking different actions, however, because beliefs are so deeply ingrained in the unconscious, they will surface again and again. Unless they are rewritten or resolved, they will continue to cause you to think certain thoughts and to experience certain results. This is why willpower doesn’t work.  Because it’s a conscious thing and it tries to go against what’s conditioned in the unconscious mind.

What are some beliefs that may be leading to these negative emotions? You may think you’re not good enough. You don’t have enough confidence in yourself.  You fear failure or you fear success. You are not loved or respected.   Limiting beliefs like these can cause you to act small and not follow the opportunities that present themselves to you. You hold yourself back because you don’t believe that you can play big or you don’t know how.

The easiest and fastest way to identify and eliminate your limiting beliefs is to work with a practitioner who is trained in how the unconscious mind works and knows the techniques to do this work quickly. NLP and Time Empowerment Techniques create fast and everlasting changes at the unconscious level so that you can move forward towards your goals quickly. There are other belief change processes that you can try on your own that are useful and take more time. The most important thing is to let go of the limiting beliefs and stop that vicious cycle. You will notice right away that you think differently, you feel differently, and as a result you act differently in your relationships and the other areas of your life. Your results also show your new mindset because you experience success like never before.

Trainers Training

I’m having a super amazing time at this training!  It’s transformational, as Dr Matt James’s trainings always are.  I’m learning so much and shifting to new possibilities. 

I’ve also made some great friendships here.  The type of people who attend these trainings are very high level energy and they are motivated to invest in themselves and also in others.  They genuinely love to help and make a difference and that’s so inspiring to me.  No one here sits around and complains about the price of gas.  Being here with these fellow trainers has brought up my energy. 

I’ve had lots of my own limitations and beliefs come up and I’ve let them go and broken through lots of boundaries.  This is what I love to do…have breakthroughs and help others have breakthroughs.  I am definitely on the right track and I am so looking forward to teaching NLP!

Inner Critic

I’ve begun writing a new report that I will be offering on my website very soon.  It’s called “Top 5 Ways to Retrain Your Inner Critic.”  I’m so excited about this report because it is the result of my work over the last few years. 

I’ve tried new things and walked different roads and some created more success for me than others.  By taking a look at my successes and what created the biggest changes in my life I realized it was all related to how I communicate with myself. 

There is oodles of scientific research today on how what we think and how we talk to ourselves creates our reality.  I think many people have heard that what they think about expands.  There are movies and books on this subject.  It’s easy to apply if you have the right system and set of tools.  I’m excited because I’ve put together my own set of tools that are based on my years of learning and trying things.  This is what I will be sharing in this report.  The final draft is almost done and my goal is to have it available by this Friday.

Marketing and Mindset Breakthroughs

Our holiday in California was amazing! The weather didn’t really cooperate but we are used to rain so we didn’t mind. Disneyland was pretty empty and so the kids didn’t have to stand in long lineups.

My marketing and mindset seminar was ground breaking for me. I learned so much! I had decided to really put aside what I already knew and to focus on getting as much out of the 3 days as I could. Boy, am I glad I chose to do that.

I have been focusing on my own personal growth and development for the last 6 years or so. I’ve read lots of books and taken lots of trainings. So some of the information was definitely not new to me. I think what made this seminar so fulfilling was the combination of information that Fabienne Fredrickson presented. She is just pure goodness and heart. She loves what she does and she gives her heart and soul in her work. 

As an entrepreneur I obviously have to market my business. It’s not something I ever really enoyed until I learned from Fabienne that marketing can not only be fun but also easy and ethical!  My past doesn’t have many successful business owners who took the ethical approach and so I was very suspicious of all marketing strategies.  To me success is not about the amount of money in my bank account at the end of the day. It’s more about how big of an impact am I making in the lives of others. The business owners I have known in the past have traded their families, marriages, and lives for the green stuff.  That’s not how I want to operate.

When I realized that success was absolutely possible in a balanced and honest way it was like a light bulb had been turned on. Everything I had studied so far and everything I want to do just integrated within me and I knew the success was already mine.

I am excited to put into practice all that I learned and enjoy myself while I’m doing it. I’ve joined Fabienne’s Mastermind group and I am ready to take things to the next level!
